Yesterday

Yesterday, I went to Island Grove in Abington. It is very fun. It is a big pool that takes 55 gallons of chlorine a day! After that we went home in our pool. It was a fun day.

My day today on 7/1/08

Today I went mini golfing and beat my mom and grandmother. It was fun but my ataxia, which makes me shake, kicked in and sometimes I hit the ball gently when I didn’t want to.

Tonight, I am going to my dad’s softball game. I will report back on how it went when I get home.

Yesterday, I went to the Children’s Museum. I had a lot of fun. I had a favorite part of the museum. There was a tennis ball in a tube, there was a rope you pull and when the rope is pulled to it’s max the tennis ball is shot into the air. You try to send the tennis ball up in the air as high as it can go. It is really fun. At night I went to the IMAX Theatre in Redding, MA. I saw Kung Fu Panda. It was a good, funny movie. I really liked it because there was some adult humor in it too.

Today, I had a mother-son day with my mom. She took me out to lunch and took me bowling. Boy is she a good bowler, she beat me twice. For the rest of the day we just sacked out at home. That was fun too.

Best Baseball game I’ve ever had!

Yesterday, I had baseball. I got up 5 times and got on base 5 times. I got 2 walks, HBP, and 2 hits and 4 RBI’s. Both of my hits and my HBP both drove in our sixth run (there is a six run limit).

Defensively, I didn’t do too well. Well, I had one bad play. Someone from our opponent’s team hit a line drive right back to the pitcher, it hit off the pitcher’s glove and came to me. When I got it, I reacted too quick and threw it away. It caused a run to score for the other team and the other runner that hit it to get to second. Besides that, I had a pretty good game.

My Day (6/7/08)

Today I went to Star Land where I played mini golf and hit some balls in the batting cages. I played with my dad. The first game he won, the second game I won. I had a lot of fun. After that, I came back home and went swimming in my pool with my step-dad, mom, 2 little brothers and my 2nd cousin. I loved it. My day was good. I loved it.

My Day (6/3/08)

Today, I had a baseball game in which I went 0-3. I struckout, and got two groundouts. I played various positions; second base, right field and center field. In outfield, a couple of balls got hit to me. I made a couple throws in.

I love baseball this year. I love it because I love competition. In my other league, the coaches pitched but I like this better because the players pitch. I love baseball.

Baseball Game! 5/3/08

Today, I had a baseball game. I was a little nervous because this is only my second game and my first year in the town league. My first at bat I struck out. My secone at bat I ripped one up the middle but the shortstop made an excellent play and fired what looked like a 90 mile per hour fastball to the first baseman and he caught it. Also, I was so nervous that a ball was hit to shortstop and he tossed it to me for the force at second but I missed it and that led up to 3 more runs in that inning! I was furious. Overall I was satisfied and I cannot wait for my next game on Monday.

4/9/08

Today, at recess I played make it take it. It is a basketball game that if you shoot the shot and get it in, you get to shoot again. If the person misses, someone can rebound it. I don’t do to well because I am not good at rebounding. I get frustrated with myself. I also practiced playing catch for my first season ever in the town baseball league.

Child of the year award!

Last Sunday I was awarded the 2008 Child of the Year Award, by the Wellspring Cape Ann Families. It was quite an honor I got a real nice Child of the Year award plaque as well as a gift certificate to go whale watching. It was a very nice day and I felt honored to recieve the award.

Yesterday at school, I got picked on by this one punky kid. I was playing basketball (my favorite hobby) and whenever I missed he yelled, “Air Ball!”. I got very mad. Then when I walked he walked very different and imitated me and made it clear that he was trying to make fun of me. Also, everytime I got the ball, he ran over to me and tryed to whack the ball out of my hand.
